Scope
1. About this policy
VoxRelay is a Windows desktop application published by Max Power IT LLC. This policy explains how VoxRelay handles information when it creates live subtitles from audio playing on a Windows computer.
This policy covers the VoxRelay desktop application. Information voluntarily submitted through the Max Power IT website, public support board, or email is handled as described in the support section below.

2. Audio, transcription, and translation
VoxRelay captures the playback source selected by the user through Windows WASAPI loopback. Captured audio is processed locally in the computer's memory by the installed speech-recognition model.
- Captured audio is not sent to Max Power IT LLC.
- Captured audio is not sent to Hugging Face or another speech-processing service.
- VoxRelay does not retain captured audio after processing.
- Speech recognition, language detection, transcription, and speech-to-English translation run locally on the user's computer.
- Translated subtitles may display the detected source language and language-confidence value.
Network access
3. Speech-model downloads
When the default Whisper-compatible model is not already cached, VoxRelay first downloads a revision-pinned copy from maxpowerit.com over HTTPS. Each required file is verified against a size and SHA-256 hash built into the application. If the primary server is unavailable, or if the user selects a model that Max Power IT does not host, VoxRelay may use the Hugging Face Hub as a backup. Captured audio and generated subtitles are not included in any model-download request.
The Max Power IT web server may process standard connection information such as an IP address, request time, requested file, response status, and client user-agent string in ordinary security and access logs. VoxRelay does not add an account identifier, advertising identifier, audio, or subtitle text to these requests. When the backup is used, Hugging Face may independently process standard connection information under the Hugging Face Privacy Policy.
After the required model files are cached, normal audio capture, transcription, language detection, and translation do not require a Max Power IT speech service.
Publisher access
4. Information collected by Max Power IT LLC
VoxRelay does not require a user account and does not include advertising, analytics, tracking, or telemetry SDK.
Through the desktop application, Max Power IT LLC does not receive:
- Captured audio or subtitle text
- Detected languages or translation results
- Playback-device names
- Speech-model prompts or inference data
- Application-usage analytics or crash telemetry
On-device data
5. Information stored on the computer
Models downloaded from Max Power IT are stored under the current Windows user's local VoxRelay model directory. Models obtained from the backup source are stored in the current user's Hugging Face cache, which may be shared with other local applications that use the same model-download system.
The standard Microsoft Store launch does not enable subtitle-history export. Other VoxRelay distributions can support an optional SRT output setting. When the user explicitly enables that setting, VoxRelay writes subtitle text and timestamps to the location selected by the user. The user controls access to and deletion of that file.
VoxRelay does not intentionally persist captured audio.
Voluntary communication
6. Support board and email
Using VoxRelay does not automatically send support information. If a user chooses to create a support account, publish a message-board post, or send email, Max Power IT LLC receives the information the user voluntarily submits.
- Message-board posts and replies are public and should not contain audio, subtitle transcripts, passwords, access tokens, license keys, personal information, or confidential material.
- Support registration information is used to operate and protect the support account and board.
- Email content is used to respond to the inquiry and maintain necessary business records.
- Support information is not treated as audio or telemetry collected by the VoxRelay desktop application.
Other providers
8. Windows and Microsoft Store
Windows, Microsoft Store, NVIDIA drivers, network infrastructure, and other software or services may process information independently under their providers' policies. Their data practices are not controlled by VoxRelay or covered by this policy.
Age
9. Children's privacy
VoxRelay is a general-purpose transcription utility and is not directed to children. The desktop application does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Protection
10. Security and user choices
VoxRelay limits core speech processing to the local device and uses the Windows user profile for model caching. Users should:
- Keep Windows, NVIDIA drivers, and VoxRelay updated.
- Protect the Windows account with appropriate authentication and disk security.
- Review and protect any optional SRT file according to the sensitivity of the transcribed material.
- Avoid posting confidential or personal information on the public support board.
- Uninstall VoxRelay and remove unneeded cached models when the application is no longer used.
Policy maintenance
11. Changes to this policy
Max Power IT LLC may update this policy when VoxRelay's features or data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when an updated policy is published.
